You may have seen Elvis Tribute Artist, Jake Slater, perform at our first fundraiser, Barn House Rock! Jake owned and rode one of our school horses, Traveler, 13 years ago. Jake has Traveler’s old bridle hanging in his living room from his time at Coyote Bill’s Ranch in Bellaire. We understand that special bond between horse and owner. Jake had been looking for him for years until a Facebook post brought them together in the summer of 2022. You can find the touching reunion video on our social media pages.
